Second Almadel Operation - Geron

Today is Sunday, July 27, 2025, 06:02AM. Performing the Almadel operation similar to last time. Same equipment. Wearing a solid red sweater. Not using the plaid picnic blanket. Making some timing and invocation adjustments based on a better understanding of zodiacal systems.

This time, I am using the tropical western zodiacal system. I believe last time I used the Vedic sidereal system to determine which zodiacal sign we were in. So this time I will be invoking the angel Geron. Additional adjustments: The timing of the day. I previously missed a line in the instructions that the operation is to be performed not only on the day of the sun, but in the hour of the sun. And this hour of the sun today extends until 07:20 am, I believe.

Mindset is…feeling invigorated. I am a little tired from waking up so early. I took a shower, and the backyard is much quieter, and I feel a little more introspective and calm, and I'm looking forward to invoking Geron.

I've said a couple of prayers over the previous days to bless my operation. I am still a little bit sleepy and that probably won't wear off until a couple hours from now when I've had a cup of caffeine.

I have set up today in the ritual circle in my backyard, which is a mowed circle, approximately 10 feet in diameter, far away from the house and any other human contact at the moment. Facing south towards the same hill.

I've also updated the language of the invocation to reflect the Ars Almadel’s reference that the second, third, and fourth Chorah are related to the powers of increase and decrease of wealth and barrenness rather than the first Chorah’s office of the same plus all vegetables, animals, and such.

Today, I'm not using the glass cups under the candles. We'll see if that does not melt my Almadel when the incense is lit underneath. The temperature is cool, a little cooler than I find comfortable.

And I suspect that as the season wears on it will become increasingly uncomfortable to perform this operation outdoors, especially at the first hour of the sun.

However, the dangers of close proximity to the carbon monoxide released by the coals means that I'm unwilling to perform the operation as written indoors. So I will either perform it on my porch, which is not a very pleasing option right now, or modify the instructions to use some type of oil diffuser which uses candle heat to melt and diffuse the mastic. I think that would be an acceptable alternative, and it would allow me to perform the operation indoors.

Placing the tablet with "Helion Helio Helio" towards the south as last time. Slightly easier to find a configuration of candles that support the tablet on the ground without the cups. but it is still pretty difficult.

I may invest in bringing a type of board with me in the future. This is a very pretty arrangement outdoors. I have brought with me my crystal quartz ball, although, again, I'm choosing not to use it. I want to minimize the number of variables that I'm going to change in each operation. 

I've not performed any modification or correction of the amulet-talisman. The previous problems using it to imprint the names inscribed on it onto hot candle wax remain, and I will probably not attempt that part of the operation if it comes down to it.

I desire that all my requests may be granted, and what I pray for may be accomplished. For your office, make it appear and declare it that such be fulfilled by you if it pleases God.

I recommend myself wholly into your office, and I pray unto your princes of this altitude that I may enjoy and obtain all things according to my wishes and desires.

Oh, thou great and mighty, Geron, I'm overjoyed that you have been able to meet with me.

I greatly desired your company. I desire that you increase my magical power such that my petitions and spells are successful. I desire that you bless me to be able to be clearly able to see, hear, and command the spirits.

The outcomes of my petitions and spells will be for the good, and my abilities now are only humble. Grant me success and joy in these operations that my life may be to the betterment of everyone.

Slake my deep curiosity of the spiritual and grant me access to the divine realms of knowledge and kindle within me the flames of ability and motivation. In the name of our god, Adonai, amen.

Geron, I hear low in my voice, in my head your voice. Can you appear more visibly to me? And I may see you and more audibly hear you. Help me be attuned to the sight and understanding of angels and spirits.

[Note to self] I am feeling something like a transparent layer, spiritual layer lying right below the surface of the earth, covering it all entirely. This transparent volume flows and enters into all objects, trees, grasses, and animals, all connected.And, therefore, since nothing is separated and everything is connected, the modification of one part has an impact on another. 

Thank you for the insight, Geron. The brightness of the sun is now quite increased.

[Note to self] And in the East, a bright white cloud is catching the first rays of the sun before it crests over the horizon. It was very calming and nice just being outside watching the sunrise and the animals and the birdsong. Its colors change as the sunrise catches the trees.

[Post operation]

In summary I think this operation went quite well. Certainly better than the first attempt. I felt more confident in the particulars of the performance of the ritual aspects and instructions and that the timing of my petition to Geron was appropriate.

When I lit the candles to perform the invocation a second time and the train began whistling, it continued through most of the petition like trumpets blaring.

And at the same time, my breath became extremely foggy, like smoke pouring out, which is not that unusual at this time of morning. I can still make my breath foggy on command, but it’s not very much or very common when I try now.

All of a sudden, huge volumes of mist started pouring out of my mouth over the Almadel. I felt that the conjunction of these signs was a strong indicator that Geron had heard and had appeared.

While meditating on the inscribed symbols on the Almadel, I was generally able to enter easily into a state of gnosis and as if the world around me was flattening down into a 2D representation of what was before me.

And in that state of meditative gnosis, I heard in my mind Geron’s response that, yes, he could increase my magical powers, and he would show me how to command the spirits, and that I would become more powerful working with them.

The voice was not exceptionally different than my internal monologue in that it did not have an accent or voice that I identified as different than my own imaginings if I sit and imagine an audible sentence. I have a strong auditory imagination and can hear music or imagine sounds, but still, it was nice to hear from Geron.

I did not visibly see him, but when I asked that he show himself more visibly and audibly again, I looked around at the trees in the backyard. I began to feel that spiritual connection and almost see a transparent volume or barrier that had inflated or filled every aspect of everything, and it was all connected through back down into the ground which was itself a great inflated orb.

I took that to be a more direct communication of an idea or how spirits talk and communicate than the auditory experience.
